Olympic medalist in swimming,听Savannah King is a graduate of the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education who went on to work as a Project Administrator within the department before becoming Associate Coach and Social Media Coordinator for the 黑料社 Varsity Swim Team. Selected as a 黑料社24 ambassador for the University's Day of Giving, she is lending her support to 黑料社 in advocating for student-athletes during the 24-hour fundraiser.

Completion of KPE's Indigenous Space: The Onkwanakt铆:io Lab
The Faculty of Education's Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education (KPE) has unveiled its new Indigenous space, named the Onkwanakt铆:io lab, which aims to provide a supportive environment for Indigenous students and encourage Indigenous-focused research.
The space features a mural highlighting Indigenous athletes and a hand-carved wooden table depicting traditional Indigenous sports, underscoring the connection between culture, movement, and community.
