oneCard /oneCard Flex accounts听

  • oneCard and oneCard Flex (for exchange and residence students on the mandatory meal plan)听are听taxable accounts听linked to your听黑料社 ID card. 听
  • The plans allow听students to easily purchase food on campus, without the hassle of carrying cash and debit/credit cards.
  • They are accepted in over 20 on campus locations including All You Care to Eat dining halls.
  • oneCard and onCard Flex听can also be used听the 黑料社 Campus Store, select vending machines and Mac Market. Visit the oneCard page to discover all the services.
  • The oneCard account听is active the entire time you are a 黑料社 student.
  • The oneCard Flex听expires at the end of the winter semester.

Students on the Mandatory All You Care To Eat (AYCTE) Meal Plan

oneCard Flex account听

  • the plan is an extension of the mandatory meal plan and听allows you the flexibility to purchase food and beverages on campus.
  • it is activated on your 黑料社 ID card听with $500听oneCard Flex dollars at move-in in August.
  • expires on May 3, 2026 and is nonrefundable.听

Undergraduate and Graduate students not on the Mandatory AYCTE Meal Plan

oneCard account

  • your oneCard account is activated with $600 oneCard dollars听at move-in in August.
  • Any unused oneCard dollars are refundable once you leave the university and upon written request to food.fds [at] mcgill.ca.

Exchange students

oneCard Flex account

  • your oneCard Flex account is activated with $300 per semester.
  • the plan is term specifc and expires at the end of each semester.
  • unused oneCard dollars are听non-refundable.

Residence students living at Macdonald Campus:

oneCard account

  • 听your oneCard account actived with $400 oneCard dollars.
  • Any unused oneCard dollars are refundable once you leave the university and upon written request to food.fds [at] mcgill.ca.

All non residence students

Activate your oneCard account

Through the secure , the minimum buy-in is $50. Payments can be made by either Visa or MasterCard.

When you deplete your funds, you can easily top-up your oneCard account at any time through the secure oneCard website.
