Climate educati on is essential for developing the skills and attitudes needed to mitigate and adapt to climate change. However\, the emotional impact of climate ch ange\, including climate anxiety\, grief\, guilt\, and anger\, can be over whelming\, especially for youth. Recognizing this challenge\, a group of i nterdisciplinary experts from Green Minds MB has developed a framework tha t integrates strategies to help students effectively manage these emotions .This workshop is primarily geared toward students from the Faculty of Edu cation\, but it will also be of interest to professionals working in vario us educational or clinical settings. Participants will be introduced to th is innovative framework and have the opportunity to engage in discussions\ , explore their own emotions and experiences with climate change\, and pra ctice emotion regulation strategies through real-life scenarios. Additiona lly\, they will be guided to set individualized goals to support their own well-being as well as that of the students or clients they work with. Rhéa and Rocque and Annabel Levesque\ , are professors in the Department of Psychology of Université de Saint-Bo niface (Winnipeg\, MB)\, and co-creators of this eco-anxiety intervention.  This is a FREE workshop\, and it is open to all (ºÚÁÏÉç students and comm unity members at large). The event will take place at the ºÚÁÏÉç Faculty o f Education (3700 McTavish)\, in the Learning Commons (main floor).
