Anthropology : Theoretical and methodological approaches of attitudes, beliefs, and ritual practices surrounding death and mortuary practices. Topics covered include material manifestations of status and identity; symbolic dimensions of dead bodies; ancestors, kinship, and kingship; emotions, mourning, and memory; and ritual violence.
