February 21 | Book move update: Fifth floor of McLennan Library Building now open

The fifth floor is now open.
As of January 22, 2024, the books will begin to move from the 5th floor of the McLennan-Redpath Library Complex to the 黑料社 Collections Center (MUCC). Until the day of the move, the floor will remain open, and the books and study spaces will be fully accessible.
Octagon Room in Islamic Studies Library closed as of November 22
Update: December 22, 2023 |聽Octagon Room construction in the Islamic Studies Library is now complete. The room has reopened to the public.
Exam period access to Nahum Gelber Law Library for Fall 2023

No extended hours at Macdonald Campus Library on November 14 & 15 due to ventilation shutdown
Please note that there will be a ventilation shutdown at the Barton Building which houses the Macdonald Campus Library on Tuesday, November 14 and Wednesday, November 15聽from 18:00 to 06:00. As a result, extended hours that run from 17:00 - midnight will be canceled on these two days.聽
This shutdown is necessary in order to perform general maintenance on ventilations systems.聽New bearings, belt, and pillow blocks will also be installed.

Schulich Library closing early on September 11
Due to a facilities issue in the Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering on Monday, September 11, the Library will be closing at 6:00pm.

August 21 | Early morning water shutdown at McLennan-Redpath Complex
Please note that the water will be shut off for fifteen-minute periods for a water line test in the McLennan Library Building on Monday, August 21, 2023, between 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM and in the Redpath Library Building between 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM.
Please note that water fountains and washrooms will not be available at the locations and during the times listed above.
