Program Description
The Ad hoc听Master of Arts (M.A.) in Digital Humanities (DH)听offered by the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures in the Faculty of Arts offers a 2-year, thesis-based MA degree in Digital Humanities with a flexible, interdisciplinary curriculum that allows students to take courses across faculties, departments, and disciplines to support their DH research objectives. Students in this program examine the theoretical and practical foundations for working in Digital Humanities, discussing core research questions, and receiving supervised training in requisite skills, such as coding, text mining, visual mapping, web analytics, and critical data analysis.

Unique Program Features
- Students may specialize in literature, intellectual history, film, media, and/or digital humanities;
- Students benefit from the opportunity to spend time abroad in Germany and Austria and take part in conference and workshop organization.听

- Upon graduation many students are trilingual or even quadrilingual and go on to pursue careers in various cultural and economic branches in Europe.
